[A couple of days after the great Finn interruptus debacle, Marceline's floating down the road...looking for the science building. Which she has never been to since Intro to Intro Chem certainly isn't worth going to.

Oh glob, what is she doing?]

[ Meanwhile, PB is leaving the science building. Because her class is over and she has some stuff to take care of back at her room.

Aaaaand that's a Marceline.

Her memories of the party are fairly good, since she was only partially inebriated at the time. She found herself immediately flushing a deep(er) pink, but quickly beat back that reaction. ]

What are you doing all the way out here, Marceline?

[yup, she's hoping the shade of her hat is hiding her blush]

Um, nothing. [arghh wrong answer. Um.] What're you doing?

Heading back to the house. Class just let out.

[ Yeah, Marceline's 'nothing' is suspicious. But PB's not gonna call her out on it. ]

You wanna walk with me? Since you're not doing anything.

[ Much. ]

Yeah, sure. [floating along, awkward silence for a few moments, and then her feet hits the ground and. Hey. She's actually walking with you.

A deep breath she doesn't need.] You doing anything this weekend?

[ Yeah, that... causes Peebs to stop walking.

After that party, the first thing that comes to mind is... well. Well.

Of course it doesn't necessitate that. It's just a harmless question, really. ]

Wanna grab some dinner together?

[ Well, now that Marceline's put that out there, this actually seems... much more manageable. Huh. ]

...Yeah. Sure. Let's do it.

[the return of the teasing smile] You still a spaghetti addict or do you want to try something else?

[memo to self: find something to keep Finn distracted. Where has he been, anyway?]

Hey, just because I really like spaghetti doesn't mean that it's all that I eat.

[Who knows. Maybe somebody responsible ought to go looking.]

[that gets a laugh] You might as well just buy the restaurant, given how much time you spend there.

I wouldn't waste our money on something like that, Marcy. [ She would if she had enough. ]

[eyebrow raise and a grin]

Really now? Even if you made money and got free spaghetti?

[geez Marcy, don't give the addict any more ideas.]

Are you trying to get me to do it?

Because you're making a very convincing argument.

Just seeing how far you'd go to feed that addiction.

It's not an addiction, it's just my favorite food. Sheesh.

[there's just a grin. She knows that much. It's just that if she did buy out the restaurant, then the addict label would be more justified.]

Seven? [dinner standard time, right?]

Now should she continue walking with Peebs or run off?]

[ WELL, PB's gonna be walking on back, and assuming that Marcy's gonna go with. :x ]

[welp, she'll just follow since PB doesn't seem to be objecting.

Oh yeah.] So you wanna take a chem test for me? It'll be tons of fun.

Marceline. [ Steeern. Well, not exactly stern, just kind of exasperated. ]

This wasn't some elaborate setup to try and get me to take your test for you, is it?

[blink] Nah, I didn't think of that until just now.

What do you say? It'll be fine. They don't even know what I look like. [since she never went]

You know you get dropped from a course if you never show up, right?
